Symphony of Destiny

Symphony of Destiny is a Richmond, Virginia-based symphonic metal band that blends cinematic orchestration, powerful vocals, and modern heavy metal into immersive stories inspired by Egyptian mythology. Founded in 2025 by guitarist and composer Wesley Eldridge, the band creates music that feels as much like a film soundtrack as it does a metal record, combining classical influences with crushing riffs and theatrical storytelling.

The songwriting of Symphony of Destiny is about mythology, since it compliments the epic theme of the band's sound. Wesley is a big fan of the Phrygian Dominant scale, which led him to write the first collection of original music about ancient mythological Egypt.

Since the release of our debut single, "Exile of Horus," we have steadily been expanding our international reach through press coverage, radio support, and an ambitious independent marketing campaign. 

We have been included in publications such as Decibel Magazine, through Metal Devastation Recommends, Susse Magazine, Loud Enough? Magazine, Metalheads Forever Magazine, Metal Junkbox, Touro Rock, and many others. We have played consistently on radio stations like Wild Dogs Radio and Antenna Web Radio, The Metallicave Radio, and Solo Autoral Radio.

Within the last year of marketing and advertising ourselves, we have released 3 singles, and as of July 17th, we will have released our EP: Heroes of Egypt, mixed and mastered by Jack Kosto from Seven Spires. This music campaign was aided by Metal Devastation to further get the word out about Symphony of Destiny. Within this music campaign, we achieved over 100 radio airplays according to Apple Music For Artists. Our following is a growing audience across multiple countries such as parts of South America, USA, and parts of Europe through curated advertisement targeting on Facebook and Instagram.

Symphony of Destiny has joined the stage with exceptional bands such as Valkyrie's Fire, and A Sound Of Thunder for the Rampage (Bastet) release show. Symphony of Destiny has also played as a support band for Daedric and The Birthday Massacre at The Canal Club in front of an audience of 400+ people.
